Each year there have been amazing prizes. This year is no different. The HGTV Smart Home 2019 grand prize is priced in at over $1.2 million. The first part of the prize is a 3-bedroom, 3-1/2- bathroom home located in Dallas, Texas. The second part of the prize is $100,000 from the LendingTree. The third part of the prize is a 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE.
Rules
When you enter any sweepstakes, you should always read the rules. This one has a higher age limit that some. You must be 21 years old to enter and be a legal resident in the US. Also, if you have any affiliation with any of the organizations attacked to HGTV or the sweepstakes, you will not be able to enter. Another important thing is when you are allowed to enter your name. 2018 Winner
Last year’s prize was a package worth over $1.6 million. There were 95 million eateries, and only one was picked, Josephine. Her family was more than willing to help the HGTV crew surprise her during a family barbeque. They made a video with her grandchildren telling her how much they love her and all of sudden they told her to turn around. There was the HGTV crew with her check telling her she was the smart home sweepstakes winner. In 2012 Josephine’s home was wiped out by Hurricane Sandy. This home will not bring back their old house but will lessen the sting.
2017 Winner
In 2017, the prize included a beautiful home in Scottsdale, Arizona. Stacy was the big winner, and lucky for her she had family in Arizona. She will be able to visit them while seeing her new home. HGTV worked with her family from Arizona to surprise her. They were having a brunch catching up when a crew member pretending to be a server gave her a cake. The cake read “You Are The Winner.” She was confused at first until she realized that the server looked familiar. What a great way to spend a day with your family. They will now get to visit much more when using their fabulous new home!
